All orders that are made at Shop CMax must agree to and abide by these Terms and Conditions. An order cannot be completed until you have noted that you have read and agreeded to these terms. It is also recommended that you read the Disclaimer and Privacy documentation prior to ordering.

Tickets purchased to specific films and sessions can only be exchanged or transferred to an alternate session and alternate day provided the holder is in direct contact with the cinema before the commencement time of the purchased session. Once the session has commenced, exchanges, transfers and refunds are not available.
Purchasing a ticket online does not guarantee you a specific seat - all tickets sold by CMax Cinemas Palmerston, whether online or at the Box Office, are general admission. They guarantee you a seat to a particular session, but seating is based on first in, first served.
All purchases made online are subject to specific fees, all of which are subject to change without notice. These fees include a booking fee per ticket purchased, as well as a Registered Post shipping fee for postal orders. These fees are displayed clearly when looking at products in your shopping cart.
Movie Money and Gift Vouchers can only be refunded within 30 days of the purchase date (and in the case of Movie Money only if the booklet still retains all of the purchased tickets and they are in one piece and not defaced).
All returns or exchanges must take place face to face in the cinema. Each situation will be handled on its own merits. All final decisions lay with cinema management.
The return of any items is the responsibility of the customer. They can either do this either face to face or they can send it by mail at their own expense to the cinema after initially contacting management. The cinema is not responsible for the expenses incurred for refunds or exchanges, nor is it responsible for the item until it arrives at the cinema.
Refunds and exchanges will only occur if the item is returned to CMax Cinemas in person or via post. The item should be addressed to:

If the items are being returned by post, ensure that a cover letter is included explaining why the item(s) are being returned, and the customer’s details. A copy of the confirmation email sent at the time of order placement is highly recommended.
It is suggested that the customer returning an item uses priority or registered mail to ensure delivery. It is not the responsibility of the cinema to ensure that the item is delivered.
If the item is received by the customer in a damaged condition then, with prior arrangement with the cinema, a substitute will be held at the cinema. The damaged item must be presented intact to obtain the substitute.
Refunds will be processed within five business days. Proof of the refund will exist in the form of a refund email as well as credit on the customer’s credit card statement. All other forms of refund or exchange will take place face to face at CMax Cinemas. Where a replacement has been issued it will be delivered by mail unless otherwise specified.
All purchases made online will be validated before being processed. Fraudulent activity will be reported directly to the authorities. If you are a member of the CMax VIP Club, your membership will cease immediately. Scalping is an illegal activity in Australia. All orders will be checked for suspicious activity prior to processing and printing of tickets. Your order(s) may be delayed if we believe that your motives for using this service are not genuine. In the event of suspicious orders, personal details of the customer will be passed directly to the authorities, and dealt with under state and federal laws.

You may purchase pre-paid tickets and movie money from anywhere in the world, however redemption of these items is limited to CMax Cinemas Palmerston, located in the Northern Territory of Australia. Delivery of any purchases is limited to inside Australia.
Orders will be completed within a 24 hour period and if delivery is required, will be posted on the next business day. Shipping is expected to take a maximum of five working days in accordance with Australia Post’s scheduling.
In the rare case where a product may run out of stock, we will endeavour to source the product as quickly as possible for you, or if this cannot be done, arrange alternate products.
All deliverable items will be delivered by Registered Mail on the Australia Post network. Movie Tickets will not be posted – these must be collected from the Box Office on the day of the session. All registered post parcels require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that there will be a signatory present at the delivery address.

Your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase. Purchases cannot be forwarded until they are paid for in full. Your credit card statement will include ‘CMax Cinemas P/L’ as the Merchant’s Name.
Payment facilities have been provided by National Australia Bank using the National Secure Internet Payment Service. All credit card details are not entered on CMax Cinemas website, and CMax Cinemas do not receive or have access to your credit card details.

After your order has been placed, you cannot trace the location of it. You can, however, trace the current status of your order if you made your purchase with your CMax VIP Club Membership via the CMax VIP Club area (Order Watch).
